Following the death of the mother of Professor Mohammad Gormaz, a member of the General Assembly of the World Assembly of Approximation and former head of the Turkish Religious Organization, Hojjat al-Islam and Muslims, Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Assembly for the Rapprochement of Islamic Religions, issued a message of condolence.

The sad news of the loss of your mother became a source of great sorrow and grief. I offer my condolences to your Excellency from the bottom of my heart for this great loss, and I ask for patience for the honorable survivors of the Almighty, and for the great soul of the deceased, peace and companionship with the righteous. Certainly, raising a child of a scholar and a servant like you and your sincere efforts to achieve the great ideal of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the freedom of the Islamic world will be a great spiritual Luggage for the deceased.
May God bless the health and security of the world during the holy month of Ramadan, and may the Islamic Ummah live in prosperity and peace.
