The visit of Professor Farahat al-Jaabiri, head of Tunisia al-Ibāḍiyyah community from the University of Islamic Denominations and meeting with University deputies.
According to the Public Relations Department of the University of Islamic Denominations, Dr. Yahya Jahangiri, Vice-Chancellor of Scientific and International Cooperation of the University, by expressing his hope for the expansion of academic and scientific relations between the Arab and Iranian universities, added: The University of Islamic Denominations is ready to develop its cooperation with Oman and Tunisia Universities in education, research, and student exchange.
Vice-Chancellor of Scientific and International Cooperation referring to the inter-Islamic Comparative approach adopted by University of Islamic Denominations welcomed the operating of the Fiqh al-Ibāḍiyyah’s chair at the university.
During this meeting, the head of the North Africa's al-Ibāḍiyyah community, recognized the potential of jurisprudence and Hadith in Fiqh al-Ibāḍiyyah about brotherhood and coexistence by referring to the discussing methods of its thinkers and important figures. "The lack of mutual knowledge will lead to disagreement among Islamic Umah," he said.
The former professor of the Tunisian University, Ez-Zitouna, welcomed the expansion of scientific cooperation with the University of Islamic Denominations.
At the end of this meeting, the establishment of a Fiqh al-Ibāḍiyyah’s and student exchange was approved with the presence of different deputies of the University.
Farahat al-Jaabiri is one of the most influential figures in North Africa, Tunisia and Oman, and representative of Sultan Qaboos in North Africa.
