Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, director of Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations met with Baqeri head of Avicenna University of Kabul signing a deal for mutual cooperation between the two academies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Head of the Avicenna University in this meeting hailed the graduates from University of Islamic Denominations as successful academicians in Afghanistan.
He expressed gratitude for expansion of academic and educational cooperation initiated by Iranian major religious academy.
Iran’s Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari referred to the new fields of study as the grounds for admission of more international students praising the Afghan graduates as the pride of University of Islamic Denominations and messengers of Islamic proximity in their homecountry.
In this meeting also attended by a number of former students at the University of Islamic Denominations, an agreement for educational and scientific cooperation was signed between the two major universities.
In a separate meeting between Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari and Asad-ullah Zia, head of Taj Higher Education Institute of Kabul, the two countries signed an agreement for research and educational cooperation.
Director of the University of Islamic Denominations has made the move in line with expanding the international activities of the major religious academy in Iran.
