Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, senior cleric and director of the University of Islamic Denominations (UID) attended the ceremony to welcome newly admitted students calling the academy as perfect and practical role model for coexistence between different Islamic denominations and highlighted international activities on top of the agenda for UID, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Our relations should be made to all countries across the globe particularly in the Islamic and regional states.”
The cleric praised cooperation of the authorities in targeting countries with the Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations and announced that the academy maintains no limitation on the denomination for the new international students rather welcomes entrees from different schools of thought.
He referred to serious pursuit of international programs by the University of Islamic Denominations and reiterated the enthusiasm of Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for expanding the achievements of the university on the international arena.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari called the University of Islamic Denominations as role model for coexistence between different Islamic denominations and religions and stressed that as a result of guidelines by the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic.
The cleric demanded international students to make the best of the opportunity at the University of Islamic Denominations.
